The anthropology of infrastructure

Abstract This article engages with the constitution of anthropology infrastructure as an autonomous subdiscipline. Rather than laboring in service demarcating a new field study, anthropologists, I argue, should strive for critical deconstruction contemporary infrastructural moment. In first part article, engage arguments favor analytical lens by focusing on their treatment relationality and materiality. pinpoint limitations these approaches argue that epistemological theoretical assumptions blunt potential anthropological studies infrastructure. The second looks at alliances connecting study analysis production nature built environment.
